Project Blue Wave


Project Blue Wave is the one among the four Major Projects of Antony Charitable Trust. 

 Project Blue Wave is all about Save Water  – To create an awareness among people about water conservation and implementing corrective measures so that the future generation will have enough water for their needs. Govt. of Tamil Nadu and Ministry of Jal Shakthi, Govt. of India recognised our events.

 Project Blue Wave focuses on the Awareness and implementation of Conservation of Water which has been propagated among School & College Students and to common Public by conducting various events across India.  We have proposed to cover all 37 districts in Tamil Nadu with various programs including Cycle Rally, Cultural competitions for Students, Awareness workshops and campaigns for the general Public & Students. All the activities will focus on shedding light on the need to Save Water which is crucial for the future generation.

 With the help of Government machinery and Educational Institutions spread over the state, we will be involving students and general public in great numbers to make the difference which is the need of the hour. This is a quest to bring constructive changes in environment.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat address had given a clarion call to citizens to join hands for water conservation and create a Jan-andolan along the lines of the Swachh Bharat Mission, to save water and secure the future. The Prime Minister invited ideas, traditional knowledge, initiatives undertaken, success stories, and films made on water conservation from common citizens, celebrities and NGOs alike.

We, Antony Charitable Trust are already doing our bit for this great movement and further lined up with mega projects to save water and secure future.

Project Blue wave focus on Five Aspects: — Water Conservation and Rainwater Harvesting, Renovation of Traditional and other Water Bodies, Reuse of Water and Recharging of Structures, Watershed Development  and Intensive Afforestation.
