SAVE WATER BHARAT

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat address had given a clarion call to citizens to join hands for water conservation and create a Jan-andolan along the lines of the Swachh Bharat Mission, to save water and secure the future.

We, Antony Charitable Trust are already doing our bit for this great movement and further lined up with mega projects to save water and secure future.

Project “SAVE WATER BHARAT”

focus on Five Aspects:

Water Conservation and Rainwater Harvesting,

Renovation of Traditional and other Water Bodies,

Reuse of Water and Recharging of Structures,

Watershed Development &

Intensive Afforestation.

We organize numerous cycle rallies and various other activities to raise awareness about water conservation and provide methods for implementing related projects throughout India

In collaboration with several NGOs and institutions, we undertake projects to achieve their objectives. One notable project is “TOUR DE LIONS”—a cycle rally covering seven states: Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Assam. This 3,200-kilometer rally was organized to raise awareness about water conservation across these states, from Gujarat to Assam. Additionally, we have conducted many similar rallies throughout Tamil Nadu.

The first cycle rally was inaugurated by Mr. Arun C. Bharat, IRS, Principal Commissioner of the Income Tax Department. The event was also graced by D.G.P. Mr. Sylendra Babu, IPS, Major General of the Indian Army, Dr. A.V.K. Mohan, and many other distinguished guests. The event received recognition, support, and appreciation from both central and state governments. Here are a few snapshots from the events held at various locations.
