In Association with Women’s Christian College, we organized an intercollegiate competition on September 20, 2024, aimed at raising “Awareness and Preventing Drug Abuse”
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students representing over 30 colleges across Chennai. The competition featured various activities, such as essay, poetry and elocution competitions all centered around the theme of ‘Drug Abuse Awareness and Prevention.’ The participants showcased their creativity and knowledge on this critical issue, demonstrating the power of youth engagement in social causes. Winners were recognized for their outstanding contributions and were awarded prizes as a token of appreciation for their efforts to spread awareness on this vital topic.
Students from diverse academic backgrounds and disciplines came together, demonstrating a shared commitment to addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse. Their active engagement and spirited involvement highlighted the collective energy and dedication of the youth in spreading awareness and advocating for a drug-free society.
